Transpersonal You: Consciousness and Inspiration

Transpersonalism is about the holistic, awesome, inspired You. The term itself can mean many different things. As I use it here, it is primarily about acknowledging your spirit. Your spark. Your radiant perfection.

Transpersonal literally means “beyond the mask.” But it does not mean ignoring your humanity. It is about not ignoring your spirit. It is about living consciously, climbing upward in consciousness by awakening more and more to your full brilliance and potential. It is about tapping into Who You Really Are – allowing your fullness and wholeness to show up in dazzling ways.

We are innately spiritual – spirituality encompasses creativity, appreciation of beauty (waves to the fellas), compassion, altruism, our will to meaning, and our innate desire to feel whole. When you admire a sunset, when you get so wrapped up in your passion that you forget to eat – you’re touching spirit.

The transpersonal You is magical – you shine with brilliance! There is a light within you that no one, no circumstance can ever dim. It is infinitely renewed, replenished, connected to the beauty of the universe.

Inspiration can be a transpersonal experience, a means to be more fully in touch with your whole humanity – your largeness, your greatness. Inspire means “to breathe life into.” You breathe life every day, into yourself. You have a constant source of inspiration within you. What inspires you, what gets you connected with your inner light? When you picture yourself as fully realized, shining, allowing yourself to be as great and vast as you’re meant to be – what do you see?

I dare say your truest self is your transpersonal self – your humanity dancing with your spirit. Keep shining!
